I have so much to say about our wedding that it’s a little bit overwhelming. I want to write about the planning process; about all of my DIY craft projects; my inspiration boards; our amazing coordinator (Kim); and my final budgeting. I want to write about the magic moments―finding my dress; picking out flowers; waking up that morning; walking down the aisle; and our first kiss as husband & wife. I want to write about the way my heart swelled when I stepped down off the deck and saw my friends & family there smiling, waiting for us, with full hearts & brightest smiles. I want to write about the difficult things, too, the mean things that people said; the hurtful ways that people who should have been there for us, were not; and the tremendous, ridiculous, selfish drama. I want to write it all out, to bleed my heart dry of the good and bad and wonderful of the whole experience―and how it was completely the happiest day of my life―and how I would not trade a single moment of it for anything in the world―and how desperately grateful I am.
But… I know that all of this will come in time. It will slowly work its way out of my heart and into the world. For now, I am going to let our wedding video speak for itself.
